Dr. Derek Randall Achenbach is a ministry leader, educator, author, and General Manager at Eagles' Nest Ministries in Phoenix, Arizona. With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning military service, business management, and pastoral ministry, Dr. Achenbach brings a uniquely grounded perspective to Christian teaching and discipleship.
A proud US military veteran, Dr. Achenbach carried the discipline and servant-leadership principles of his service into every arena of his life. After completing his military career, he pursued advanced academic credentials — earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Doctorate in Pastoral Ministry from International Christian College and Seminary, where he is also a Ph.D. candidate in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship.
Driven by a deep conviction that the Body of Christ is fractured by man-made denominational labels, Dr. Achenbach founded God's House Ministries — a non-denominational adult Christian church rooted in expository Bible teaching, prayer, and authentic community. His ministry is built on one foundational truth: believers are Christians first, and nothing more.
